Vehicle Description The 1963 Buick Riviera was Buick's first true luxury coupe, a culmination of a five-year program by General Motors and Buick.
This classic 1963 Riviera was found in an old chicken where it had been parked since 1978, with only 37,000 original miles.
EXTERIOR is show quality:
Undercarriage is straight, with the frame repainted in a special rust resistant paint, super clean and rust free.
Body is solid.
Prior to the show quality repaint in gloss black, the body was stripped to bare metal, all components sandblasted where needed.
Glass is close to new condition.
Windshield was replaced, and weather stripped replaced.
Original bumpers have been rechromed to superior standards.
Grill and trim are original and in excellent close to new condition.
Trunk compartment has been professionally detailed.
Spare tire features a matching wire wheel cover.
4 brand new BF Goodrich T/A tires are mounted to original steel wheels with deluxe wire wheels fitted.
MECHANICS:
Original engine with matching #, High output 325 HP V-8 with 4 BBL carburetor has been rebuilt to exacting standards.
New piston, cam, lifters, rocker arm assembly, timing chain gears, etc installed.
